Frameries - Directors flee for angry workers
The direction of the Japanese multinational Bridgestone, which was taken hostage in the buildings of the factory in Frameries, was liberated in the evening by police. They were taken hostage since the morning by the 180 workers on strike who are protesting against the firing of 9 fellow workers.
The directors tried to get out themselves several times but were pushed back by the workers.
The workers maintain their pickets, blocking the entrance of the factory with tires.
Workers threw paint and eggs on the cars of the directors who fled under police escort, also slashing their tires.
