GHENT - In the night of Saturday to Sunday, the offices of the senator Tony Van Parys were dirtied. The authors also left a squatting sign on the building.
The senator believes he's being targeted because he's at the source of a law proposal to make squatting legally punishable. The law proposal is not directed against the "decent squatters", but against those "who use squats for criminal activities."
