Brussels - Private security guards in public transport want to resign

BRUSSELS - Since a week, after several 'incidents' and a strike of the public transport company for more security, 10 private guards of Securitas are patrolling inside the metro. Three of them already asked a transfer. They say they are being insulted every day and all the time. At a certain point, the guards asked for intervention of the police against some people in the metro, which didn't show up. The guards then filed a complaint about insecurity! At the same time, last week, there were several incidents of people throwing stones to passing trams.
