BRUSSELS - The judge of the Court for the Peace (which presides over small juridical offences like refusal to pay rent, squatting, unpaid bills etc.) of Schaerbeek, Eric Dierickx, denounces the fact that it was the seventh time in a short periode he was threatened with death. A person entered the court room and threated to kill the judge. He got out of the court before police could arrest him, and when the judge left the building later on that day, he was again threatened in the street by the same person. Police now put extra-protection on the judge and the court house. Police takes this threats very seriously, since last year a judge and a staff member of Justice were killed in court.
