Bomb alert at ICT congress in Affligem

On Thursday afternoon a building where an ICT-congress was taking place was evacuated by the police because an e-mail was sent to the organisers saying that two small but powerful firebombs would explode at the location. The congress was organised for local governments to learn how to make a better use of ICT (information and communication technology). Earlier that day minister Geert Bourgeois (N-VA) was a guest speaker at the congress. Finally no bombs exploded or were found.
