Brussels - Mass in big church disturbed

BRUSSELS – Thursday, a big mass in the Basilique of Koekelberg, attended by a delegation of 70 priests, was disturbed by a group of persons. Archbishop Léonard was not there but this didn’t withhold a group of persons to waste this holy silent moment. Condoms filled with shampoo were thrown above the heads of the believers; the holy water was coloured red; slogans were yelled and just before leaving, two alarms attached to balloons with helium went off. The balloons nestled at the roof of the enormous Basilique, sounding their smooth melody far longer than the swift irruption.
A text, in French and Dutch, against all religion was thrown into the crowd: http://www.cemab.be/news/2010/06/9732.php
