Brussels - Five armed robberies every day

BRUSSELS - The Federal Police is sounding the alarm. The amount of armed robberies in Brussels have risen with 30 percent the first three months of 2010 compared to the year before. 138 armed robberies in three months which means 5 robberies every day. Also in other cities like Antwerp, Charleroi and Liège robberies rise with 20 to 30 percent, but the use of warfare arms stays the "sad monopoly of Brussels" said the Brussels chief of police Glenn Audenaert.

Kalashnikovs would now be for sale to everybody in Brussels for less then 2000 euros.
