Brussels - Black-out in European Area (Parlement, Commission etc.)

BRUSSELS - About half of the European Area, including the European Parlement and the European Commission and still some other European institutions, was paralysed by an black-out of electricity between 14h and 18h. The institutions were evacuated, more than 30 streets didn't have electricity anymore.

The cause was a fire or according to some newspapers an explosion which erupted in an electrical substation of Wiertz. The cause is not known.
