ITTRE - The 47 years old Raoul Faès, imprisoned in the prison of Ittre, died in his cell last night, intoxicated and carbonised by a fire in his cell. The guards didn't intervene (or at least not quick enough) to get him out of his cell.
Police speaks of an accidental fire and will not prosecute the prisons personnel.
Some troubles and protests happened during the evacuation of the wing of the prison.
Raoul Faès was condemned for a series of thefts.
