Berchem – Two cranes set on fire

Around 6 AM, firemen arrived at the place of the arson. A crane has been set on fire near the railway station of Berchem (near Antwerp). A second crane was set on fire soon after.
One of the two cranes has been totally destroyed by the flames, the second was slightly damaged. It was an arson. The research laboratory came and found no traces of fire accelerators. The fire started in the oil tank. No one got hurt.
